i’m a slacker. i haven’t written in a couple of days, and so now i’m comin’atcha’ hawt. i’ve got a little making up to do.
first off, i have to thank my wife’s sister natalie for directing us to the absolutely hilarious movie called, ‘me, you and everyone we know’. i’d heard of it, and even seen posters…albeit briefly…in the theater. i remembered thinking that it looked funny, but i guess i just forgot about it. and then along comes natalie and throws this clip my way. i came fairly close to launching beverage in my mouth through my nose onto my keyboard…
both of the kids in this are really funny, but the little one takes the cake. i cannot believe how deadly serious he is…especially given the subject matter.
i won’t go into full review mode or anything…but let’s just say that if you like wes anderson-ish movies, this one is definitely up there. it’s a little strange, and sometimes you will find yourself going, ‘oh my god…is that really happening?’ but then again, when you think about it, real life can be like that…
