I'm having acupuncture too ( for colitis ) along with moxitherapy ( mungo root is burned and the needles are heated slightly- very relaxing; I feel little internal shivers emminating from each needle point. When I told the acupuncturist that, she was very pleased and said it was the movement of chi). I'm actually feeling a slow movement toward better. Hope you're going for acupuncture once or twice a week for about six weeks- that's the most effective. I've been about 4 times so far - and she's starting to space the visits further apart now. Good luck to you- hope it helps you out.
