‘who is this andrew character,’ you ask?

i’ll keep this pretty simple…a summary if you will. my full name is andrew joseph geonetta. i’m 32 years old and now live in austin, tx. with my lovely wife christy and my two dogs macy and jax, both of which are boxers. by day, i’m an interactive project manager at an integrated marketing agency called schematic and by night i’ll eventually start playing music again. that has been on hold for a little bit, but now that we’re more comfortable with austin, that’ll start again. all of my music and my previous band is here.

i love video games. i’m currently addicted to world of warcrack…i mean world of warcraft…and really love my xbox 360. specifically, i play a lot of FPS, 3Ps, strategy, puzzle, action & platform-type games, but i’m open to just about anything that is cosidered a ‘good’ game. should my dream of ‘rockstar’ not ever be realized, my dream job would be to work for either a video game studio or a distributor.

i love movies. i go and see one a week, sometimes two, sometimes more, when the movie watching is good.

i love to read, specifically really geeky high fantasy stuff (george r.r. martin, terry goodkind, robert jordan, etc.), most any kind of fiction, and world war II history.

i have ulcerative colitis. i’m going to spare you the details. click on the link if you want to learn more. it sucks, but i try not to let it get me down too much. at least i can walk, talk and function pretty normally. i will say, however, that it’s a giant pain in the ass, though (no pun intended…really…)

otherwise, i’m a pretty normal dude. i enjoy cooking, going out to eat, hanging out with my wife (christy), hanging out with my dogs, taking small trips, computers/technology and learning random stupid things. i know a little bit about a million different things, but i don’t know a ton about one thing in particular. oh yeah…i enjoy daydreaming about becoming filthy dirty rich without having to do anything at all.
